Most Powerful Man On Earth Celebrates 63rd birthday with ice hockey game and seven goals

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin   born 7 October 1952, has been the President of Russia since 7 May 2012, succeeding Dmitry Medvedev. Putin previously served as President from 2000 to 2008, and as Prime Minister of Russia from 1999 to 2000 and again from 2008 to 2012. During his last term as Prime Minister, he was also the Chairman of United Russia, the ruling party.

He celebrated his birthday in his favorite Black Sea resort of Sochi by taking part in an ice hockey match and with holding a briefing on his country’s military campaign in Syria.
The Russian leader then took part in an ice hockey match in an arena used in the 2014 Winter Olympics, personally scoring seven goals. Cheered on by the crowd, his team, which included his defense minister and a clutch of ex-NHL stars, won 15-10.
The losing team included old friends of Putin, including some of the wealthiest businessmen in Russia.
  “He who acts and aims for victory will undoubtedly achieve victory. Good luck, everyone!” he said.
